Maidstone Innovation Centre sits on Gidds Pond Way within Kent Medical Campus, part of Kent, set within 30 acres of landscaped grounds surrounded by ancient woodland, just a six-minute drive from Maidstone town centre and right on Junction 7 of the M20. Opened in 2021 with funding from the European Regional Development Fund and Maidstone Borough Council, it’s a purpose-built hub dedicated to MedTech, life science and healthcare innovation.
The award-winning building offers hot-desking, coworking, day offices and virtual offices, alongside 6 fully equipped meeting rooms and a large conference room with a folding partition, two TV screens and a wireless content-sharing pod. Members get breakout areas, on-site business support, fast reliable broadband, catering and hearing loop facilities, though coworking access is reserved for businesses directly associated with the Medtech, life science or healthcare sectors.
Maidstone Innovation Centre gives Kent’s healthcare entrepreneurs and MedTech businesses a genuinely inspiring, sector-focused base for co-working within one of the country’s leading Academic Health Science Networks.
