ergo Business Centre sits on Bridgehead Business Park, Meadow Road, in Hessle, part of East Riding of Yorkshire, overlooking the Humber Bridge at the heart of the UK’s "Energy Estuary". A unique collaboration between East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the University of Hull, it’s designed as a hub for businesses in the renewables and environmental technology sector, though open to a wide range of office-based companies.
The centre offers 33 offices from around 190 to 868 sq ft, with modern conference rooms, ground-floor meeting rooms, communal areas and ample free on-site parking, plus the on-site Moe’s Kitchen café catering for gatherings of up to 80. No VAT is payable on licence fees, and small business rate relief can be applied for through the council.
Bringing together shared challenges, problem-solving and links to research, ergo gives Humber-area businesses a genuinely collaborative base for co-working, particularly those in the renewable energy and environmental technology sectors.
